yay friday: feed goals

I am a little fed up with my unorganized instagram feed, mine has been inconsistent in terms of content and the overall look. It would be so nice to see all your photos just flow together. I know, it does sound like a first world problem and you might think, c'mon, it's just instagram. Yes. For me though, it should be another platform to show my works. It's about time I revamp the shit up. Listed below, here are my top 5 instagram feeds inspiration. I hope they will inspire you as well.

Yasss. She's such an inspirational person. Her feed is so fun and colorful, yet they all just go together nicely. The contents are amazing. I am taking as much as I can into account about art direction from this one.

type thursday: lettering rookie

Lately I've been drawn to hand lettering. There are a few letterers out there to name that I admire: Jasmine Dowling, Abbey Sy, Cristina Martinez and Kristin Nohe. Their works are just beautiful and effortless.

I've wanted to learn for some time, so I just picked up a Koi Coloring Brush Pen and ink yesterday at a stationary store. I managed to pull off some on a tiny notebook, but they do need some touch up on Photoshop and whatnot. Here's one of the result, no Photoshop on this one yet though.

hello, again

I finally have this blog set up. I decided to delete the previous posts, because I want to start fresh. I've missed blogging for quite some time. I want to commit to it, since I pretty much abandoned blogging 4 years ago. I feel like I am now ready to spend a little bit of time to build this blog again. I’m excited to write about a range of topics: design, food, beauty, and whatever floats my goat. Yep, goat. Whatever.

Essentially, I was going to wait until I have a few posts to share, but screw it. Let's just do it. I have so much I want to share!
